Nice to Be A Back Again Bertram Buff

I've had wonderful feast within the Bertram "food chain" having dined delectably on a B31, B33 and now a vintage B25. I too am faced with the daunting decision of what to do about two (2)40 gallon fuel(fiberglass)tanks plus the fact that I must replace the port engine, a long block 318 Chrysler. Which comes first and I think I already know the answer. But I am confused as I'm reading here, some commentary, that once the eythanol has "cleaned" the tanks of all debris and fuel line hoses are replaced I'm good to go with the tanks I've got. Is this just some wishful thinking on somebody's part, including mine?
