B28 Fuel Tank

I've been working on upgrading and updating my 1983 B28 FBC for over a year and just when I thought I was getting close to the end, we get the ethanol problem tossed at us. I don't have a clue as to when we are getiing ethanol here in SW Florida, but I just talked to Doug at Nautic Marine Welding on lead time and approximate cost for a stainless 190 gallon tank. Getting measurements without taking off the cockpit deck is nearly impossible, so he was only able to give me a ball park figure. I pulled the hatches and got down in there to look at the fiberglass tank to get an idea of the job to pull it and it looks to be a little more complex than I originally thought it might be. For one thing the port side has a stepdown to accomodate the port exhust and the starboard side does not. It also has a tunnel in the forward center of the tank that is glassed right to the engine bulkhead and with my mirror and flashlight I could see that the whole tank was glassed to the stringers below. It looks like a dissassembly of the tank is in order. Has anyone had any experience with this beast?
