At some point I thought I read here that glass tanks made with a certain 500 gallon batch of resin were the ones effected. Is that true? & if it is true then how many tanks will 500 gallons make and what year boats are the ones having the problems? Maybe that way one can make an educated guess as to have a bad tank or not? I drained my tank to zero last spring and inspected it therought the sending unit hole and it was pristine! Of Cours that was before ethynol!! My boat is a 1973 and I'm in Mass. Ethynol on the way right now!!
Also, I see you guys are adding mystery oil- how much do you add?? I wish someone had definite answers o this then it would be easy. Thanks,
