Hi All
I am getting into this discussion a little late and have read all the posting on the ethanol problem I have a 1983 B28 FBC with 190 gallon Fiberglass tank I use marvel oil for winterizing
Here are my questions
How do you inspect and clean the tank? (cut an hole in it?)
I have looked in thru the sending unit all seams clear and clean
How can you tell if there is gum or varnish in the tank?
What does putting Marvel oil in with the gas do for me??
I have water seperators before the fule pumps
will they pick up the GOO.
My engines were replaced with new Merc Blue waters in 93 complete with FWC 1000hrs now
does that make any difference on the affect of the GOO??
I live in Mass. 10% ethanol is here this year!
I hope some one gets back to me soon.
