What worked for me to stop the valves from Glueing shut and bending rods on startup, I would fog engine with Amsoil's PowerFoam before shutting down, it's pretty much a foaming carb cleaner. This would allow me to start engine without bending rods.

I would still bend rods when running as I believe the stems where gooed up. Carb cleaner did not help here, I found Heavy use of Techtron addative in the fuel did the trick. After several trips and maybe 100 gallons of fuel with a 2x dosage I was running close to normal again. That was till I fueled up in NY and problem started all over again.
