It starting to look like the biggest culprit is (but not limited to) the gunk at the bottom of the tank.
Interesting point about mixing the old gas with the new gas.
I'm thinking of getting the boat ready for the season a little early than usual, burn off the old fuel, re-haul line the tank, and hopefully have a good season!
