I was discussing the problems with a friend and fellow Bertram owner. He commented that his tank blistered and leaked fuel into the bilge "Years" ago, so he replaced the fiberglass tank with a stainless one.

Here is the kicker though...He has Diesels!
Go figure!

BTW in my poking around I discovered that some agencies and persons report that mixing ethonal fuel with fuel that contains MBTE can cause a your tank before you make the switch, and once switched be careful not to take on any more of the old gas.
Just one more thing to think about.
