Important Vinyl Ester Question

My B28 has now the cockpit deck removed. I am replacing engines, fuel lines etc. It seems that it could be the right moment to fix the gas tank. In Italy at the moment we do not have ethanol in gasoline. But it is planned that we will have 1% ehanol by July 2006 and at least 5% by 2010. If I understand what you guys are saying I could open up the gas tank, remove all the dirt and the old geal coat and apply one or more layers of VYNIL ESTER and not to worry anymore about ethanol. Am I missing something or this should fix the problem? Of course I would have this job done by professional people.
