Cummings 4BT, is 150Hp enough?

I have a chance to pick up a pair of used Cummins 4BT's, which are a running takeout. I know the owner and condition of the engines are good. My concern is the Hp of the 4BT's @ 150. Is this going to be adaquate for a 31 Express. Yes I would like more speed then I have with 440's but not a nessecity. More important I do not wish to overtax the engines or go slower.

Any info would be helpfull.

Thanks,
Carl
