Harv,

Maybe when you get to talking with any of those political types you should point out that wide spread problems with ethanol could put the entire alternative fuel thing in jeopardy. If enough people wind up having trouble with this stuff they are likely to demand that the country chuck the whole thing, and in the process they'll throw out the baby with the bathwater.

Therefore the politicians should INSIST that non-ethanol fuel be made available for both legacy vehicles and distribution/sales outlets in order to cover their as**s and save their pet project.

So you see, those of us who are asking for non-ethanol fuels for our older equipment are really helping to push the entire clean air; renewable resource; alternative fuel thing forward to ultimate succes. It is just something we feel we should do as good citizens.

Now that is the sort of convoluted logic any politician can love!
