Since the jury is still out on the tank situation, I ponder what to do. It will be either a new glass tank or re-line the old one. Re-lining would be cheap but this is not a cheap problem. My boat and all the Bertrams are worth a new tank. It will effect market vaue down the road as others will bad mouth our situation. So I'm going to fix mine properly.
The "Irish Wake" has a 1" teak deck that runs from the stern to the steering station(Bahia Mar, Signature Series)and I'll have to cut it to get at the tank. I am prepared to bite the bullet before the bullet bits me.
In the mean time (she's going in the last week in March), I will be watching my bilge and adding Marvel Mystery oil to the gas and crankcase.
So, tell us Harv, what to do!
