Randall,
It was turning low 8's.
But because of reworking the engine, it is expected to turn low 7's to high 6's.
Had to lengthen the frame 10" to accomodate NHRA safety rules for the speed.
The frame was an original 60's front engine dragster.

Wed night was just a test run to see how it handled. No full runs, just short ones to get used to the additional bounce of the extended frame and make sure everything would hold under the additional HP.
Added dual chutes to slow evenly.

Will take some pics next time out at the track.

Moroso speedway is out by Pratt and Whitney plant.
They have a road course and top notch carting track.
The strip needs paving real bad. Its concrete from the line out to 100' then transitions into black top and is real bad at that point.

Will probably not make a full power complete run there due to the conditions, maybe over at Bradenton or up at Ocala.

Out past the traps running at night is real dark and kind of dangerous also.

Almost dangerous for anything running below 9 seconds.
