Affect of Ethanol

Does anybody have any info on the affect gas with ethanol has on fiberglass gaa tanks on Bertrams. I've heard it softens and deteriorates the tanks. Does anyone know whether non ethanol gas is stil going to be made available for marine and aviation use and if pumps that dispense gass with ethanol added have to be marked. Any info appreciated. I live in southern Maryland.
