I've always heard and read that acetone is the definitive solvent for polyester resin--in fact, you use it to clean surfaces and remove the resin. I believe that polyester resin and fiberglass mat comprise our fuel tanks in these Bertram's. I wouldn't want to put it in my tank. Maybe it's ok in metal systems.
