Just getting educated on this subject. Farmers make money on this. It is used because the increase in price for crude. It reduces the freeze point in gasoline and that is why the northern states are using it...hence the noticable color difference. Sorry for the ignorance with subject matter, just trying to figure things out. Kind of the new guy here. Kevin
