My daughter and son-in-law purchased Ford's Hybrid and get a big 28-30 Mpg (underwhelming). They can't tow anything too heavy. The battery costs $8000 to replace and is rated at only 80,000 miles. They've got a long way to go, and I'll bet the small diesels that Damlier Benz will bring out will beat the ass off the Hybrids, plus the distribution of fuel and repairs is already in place. Walter
