Sorry, I used the Startron product and engine still bent rods with a fresh dose of Ethanol laced fuel.

I also switched my inline filters from the Mercruser Spin-on to the Fram 2 Stage Filters. The Fram filter is supposed to absorb Tar and Varnish in one stage then filter down to 1 Micron in the second stage. Bent rods and clean filters is the end result.

Thinking back over this past season, a freshly cleaned tank, fuel from Jersey, Techron Additive plus a good shot of Powerfoam ( Carb cleaner)in the carb at the end of each run made the only improvements.
