seaworthy, the boatus publication, has come out with part 2 of the study of the effect of ethanol on fibgerglass gas tanks.not good,over 30 cases of fiberglass tanks that have started to fail in the past four months. in a few cases the tanks were so badly deteriorated that they were leaking gas. Boatus is funding a series of tests by Impact Matrix systems to determin the type of resin that was used in the degraded tank, the contents of the goo and valve deposits and the extent to which the fuel had been absorbed into the tank. it was a long article, these are the important points.Good luck on the trip Pat....Russ
