Ethanol news

Got a call weds. afternoon from this gentleman at Boat US, don't know why he called me? I guess he's tired of me calling him regarding the ethanol/tank issue. ANY WAY, He had just received the report on the tests made regarding ethanol/fiberglass reaction. He said that Styrene was found in the fuel tank, which apparently is a componant used in the make-up of these tanks, but said that the tar-like substance, I think he used the word (carbon) was not necessaraly from this reaction and could be from the sediment stirred up by the introduction of ethanol, they are still waiting for results from these tests. Sorry for the vagueness of my report,I think this guy was the asst. vice pres. give him a call, I asked him to post his findings on this bulletin for all to see. Dave
