The ethanol is NOT eating your 1966 tank. It might eat some newer POS tank in a Grady, but your tank is fine.
The ethanol is eating your old rubber lines, and cleaning the sludge out of your old tank.
1. Replace ALL lines which come into contact with fuel, including the fill hose.
2. Hire a guy to drain your tank.
3. On the day of the tank draining, have 1/4 tank of fuel. Take the boat out and pound the snot out of it to suspend as much crap as possible in the fuel.
4. Drain it right away.
5. Fill the tank and carry some extra fuel filters. Things will start looking up....Mike
