I had a helm chair also. I purchased a bench seat
at the New York Boat Show from Arigoni in Connecticut.
I got a 42 in x 18 in bench. I had it installed and the quality appears to be high.
I forget what paid for it (probably between 6 & 700). I was hit for an additional shipping charge also.
One person from the site ( a California owner) made a very nice bench and may have plans for it. However, from his description of the materials and detail I knew I'd have to buy one.
