Walter,
The same as Algae-X in concept and application, except for the addition of a water seperator...
Bruce and I have remained rather skeptical on magnetic fuel conditioning, mainly because no one would, (or could), explain just what kind of "conditioning" was taking place.
In reading Mr. F. X. McGeechan, (a USMMA graduate, is the Technical Director of Environmental Solutions International, Inc.), explanation of the process, I can move more into the "believer" realm...
What the De-Bug & Algae-X are doing is destroying the cellular membrane & there by reducing the organism's remains to sub-microbial size. That small size is easily passed through the fuel filters and burned in the combustion process.
With enough fuel transfer, the contents of the tank becomes virtually microbe free without the need to maintain the fuel with biocides.
Early in my college education I was majoring in biology and microbiology. I didn't stay interested in a science degree long enough call myself a biologist, but I certainly got enough out of those courses to understand how fragile the electron balance is around a microbe's cell walls. Running a microbe through a rare earth magnetic field equates to tossing a toad into a blender...
Now, which unit works the best? Don't have a clue, but all blenders will puree a toad. The Algae-X might take up less space and my bet is it costs less also.
Best regards,
Patrick - I See The Light...
